  • Park is on your left and has parking for about 20 vehicles.

This hiking spot is conveniently located in the Center of Summerland.  This hike is kid and pet friendly (on a leash) and you don’t even have to get your shoes dirty as you can follow a paved trial almost to the top.  Once you get to the top you are treated with 360 degree views of Summerland and Lake Okanagan. There is a parking lot  at the base of the mountain for about 12 cars.  There is also a parking lot almost at the summit when the park road gates are open to the mountain.

You can stop at a few of the benches on the way up to enjoy the view and took a few of the shortcuts along the way. There is an outhouse at the top parking lot if you need it. There are no places to get water so remember to bring your own.

There are a number of trails  to explore going up and down the mountain.  This is one of my favourite hikes with friends and family.
